After cleaning the sliders on my Axxe per Sam’s YouTube video, I am getting constantly sustaining notes. I checked the j-wires and they look fine, none are touching the rails. Could the release slider on the ADSR be the culprit? It’s as if the the slider is all the way up.
Have you changed out the original tantalum Capacitors with newer ones (especially in the triggering circuits). These older caps are notorious for their leaking voltage and causing “ghost-ing” and sustaining notes. If you still have those old Tantalum Caps in there, replace them and then hear how it sounds. If it is still sustaining, you might want to try and replace that release slider. There may be a short in it. Good luck.
