My 106 was probably sitting for about 20 years, however it worked before I stored it. so I went through the normal overall: new chips, new filters, new sliders and some other things. I checked all of the pre-volts checks on the board and they looked good. Had a horrible time calibrating. Thought it may had been my old pots so I replaced all of the pots to set calibration. I’ve made all of my setting for the correct banks as described in Rolands service notes before attempting settings. Some chips will adjust white others peak to peak volts go up and down like a roller coaster on the oscillopscope without being able to set to 4.8 volt or 6volt when required. I beginning to think it’s my new chips from Borish electronics which gets a high review on their AR80017A voice chips. one of the chips has a big fat wave unlike the others that are crisp and sharp. any recommendations

Did you replace any electrolytic capacitors? Pretty common for those to cause issues in the voice circuitry. The bipolar ones seem to always be fine but sometimes the standard polar ones have to go. Some techs prefer to just replace them all or you can follow symptoms and only replace the ones needed. ESR meter can help too but increasing ESR isn’t the only cap failure mode.
