Hi,I am experiencing a critical boot issue with my KORG Pa5X, and I would appreciate your advice on which internal part needs to be replaced to fix it.
Here are the details and symptoms:
The Issue: When I turn on the keyboard, it gets stuck on the KORG logo screen and refuses to boot into the normal working system.
Current Workaround: To get it to boot normally, I have to power-cycle the keyboard (turn it Off and On) about 8 to 9 times.
Troubleshooting Done: I have already updated to the latest OS version and attempted a factory reset, but the issue still persists.
Based on these symptoms, I suspect it might be a failure of the internal MicroSD card or a hardware component on the mainboard.
Could you please advise me on which specific replacement part I should order to resolve this?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Best regards,

---

This seems to be a common problem.

I think the internal memory battery may be depleted, or something like a shorted capacitor is draining the memory battery

If you are able, find a service manual, and see if the internal memory battery is reading correct voltage, or if its depleted.

If you are not able to do this, ask at a local music shop for a tech in your area who can do this.
