Nautilus61 Joystick Replacement

My new 61 developed a ‘flat spot’ in the pitchbend. I was able to purchase the entire joystick assembly from Syntaur.

I would like some advice on how to open the case. When I went to remove the rear cover, the obvious screws didn’t free up the side cover, and I don’t want to break anything, so I decided to ask if anyone knows how to replace the joystick in one of these?

**Hi ,Take the left side cover off the metal one.It has 2 Black torx bit screws that are hidden on the side.Flip the keyboard on the opposite side to make it easy for yourself take the screws that are hidden on the under side. When putting all screws back don’t over tighten .When you feel resistance stop tightening. You will have to have some kind of spacer to hold the keyboard up so you can install the PB.I used studio foam. **

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, I haven’t figured it out yet. I was expecting that I could open a small panel and have access to all the important parts.

Am I needing to remove the top, or the bottom? Have I removed too many screws, or not enough?

I have another picture showing the two hidden allen screws I removed from that end of the case, but they only let me include one picture per post.

I really appreciate your help.

Do I need to take all the screws out of the bottom?
