Greetings and salutations. So my Korg Electribe ESX is having issues with the slide pot on the arpeggiator. Upon looking for a replacement, I can’t find any that have the center detent, which is a feature of that slide pot that I really like. I was noticing that Nord part number 25250 has similar specs, but 11 detents. It’s Syntaur part 9538. Could one, theoretically, with a little finagling, fit that sucker in there in it’s place and have a stop for each individual note? Any advice, possible avenues, or general wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

you don’t say what the problem is.

1. if the slide is gummed up, take it apart and clean it.
2. if the resistor material has a break in it, take it apart, clean it and use conductive paste to fill in the break.
