How do I repair the middle d on a Yamaha p 200
A few things can go wrong causing keys not to work. Sometimes the key contact board just needs cleaning where the contact for that key is. If that doesn’t work you may need a new contact strip or the contact board may need to be repaired or replaced. Not too bad of a job if you are mechanical. Take lots of pictures as you take it apart. Put the screws in separate zip locks with clear labels. Don’t force any plastic parts. If you break them, they are hard to find on a keyboard this old. Look for parts at Syntaur or Yamaha24x7. I have a copy of the service manual, but could not attach it to this message (?)…Tony
