Roland D-50 Chorus Error (!)

Hello world,

I have gotten an error on my D-50. The output is dead and I get an Chorus Error !! on test mode.

So… I figured I either try to replace the chip - or sell dissasemle and sell synth for parts.

But, I love this synth and I really would like to try to fix it. It is in very good condition, apart from Chorus Chip.

Anyone have similar issues, or know if it can be anything else that cause this error?
And lastly, anyone got a main board - or a chip for sale?

The chip is MB87137. A custom Roland part. It’s surface mounted, you could reflow the solder to make sure it making good contact. Need a SMD hot air station to do that in most cases.
