I’ve got an RE-101 here that is in need of a replacement playback head. Working great otherwise. Just thought I’d put this out here in case it ever gets a hit.

Those things are really cool and have a unique sounding effect like nothing else. Hope you are able to get it fixed!
Indeed! I used to use a Univox (I think!) tape echo back in the stone ages, and it really did give a cool vibe to synth sounds! Wish I still had it…
