Hi everyone! I have recently acquired a Polivoks that was unfortunately damaged in transit. Hoping I might be able to get some help pinpointing what the problems might be. There are a number of issues with it.
First the synth never releases a note, it just plays nonstop. Also turning down the main volume knob doesn’t do anything, what adjusts the volume is the “external input” knob in the mixer section.
Next the VCF and VCA section do pretty much nothing. If I play with the filter resonance and cutoff I can hear it filtering something, but it’s very very quiet.
Anyone have any ideas where to start? I opened it up and at a first glance everything seems pretty clean and normal.
