How hard is it to take apart a voyager RME?
The panel brightness control doesn’t work. Stays bright. I’m wondering if it’s maybe just the pot. Is it hard to take them apart to get to the panel?
To answer my own question-- it’s easy. They obviously put thought into making them easy to repair.
Ended up the potentiometer wasn’t connected. Easy fix. Took maybe an hour to open it, remove the board, remove the pot, solder it up (“Wiper” was labeled on the light driver), and put it back together. I hooked the other two wires up backwards first time, but fortunately I tested it before putting it all back together and it was simple to reverse them.
