Howdy! Just took delivery of a gorgeous Yamaha DX5. 34 years old and still beautiful. However, as I suspected, the old-school EL LCD is really dim and makes that characteristic “whine.” Anybody know if it can be replaced with one from a newer model like the DX7mkII - or better yet, a modern LED based unit? I’ve read that space could be an issue and the old ones used a high voltage inverter…
