Lifelong amateur/semi-pro keyboardist and songwriter. I have owned some keyboard gear over the years that is now considered classic, like a Wurlitzer 200B, Rhodes Mark I 73 stage piano, Hohner D6 clavinet, Roland Juno 106;
unfortunately I did not realize how “classic” some of that gear was or I never would have sold it!!! (I particularly miss the Clavinet and the Juno.) However, I still have my first serious keyboard, the RMI 300B Electra Piano that I bought new in January 1972.

Today my studio includes a Yamaha Montage 7, Motif ES Rack, KX-88 and DX-5, Ensoniq TS-12 and SQR Plus 32-Voice, Kurzweil K2000R. PC2R, K1200 Pro I, K1000 GX, K1000 PX Plus (2) and K1000 PX plus an RG-100 piano. Most of the Kurzweil racks are redundant and will be sold, eventually. Thanks to eBay I have acquired at very little cost some old analog rack-mount gear like a couple of Aphex Compellor/Aural Exciters, Antares ATR-1A, BBE 882i Sonic Maximizer, and Mackie CFX-20 mixer. I still record using a Roland VS-2000CD–no computer DAW yet. I am still learning my way around all those processors…As everyone likely to read this knows, no matter how much gear one acquires, there is always the desire for more, and room will be found for something from Oberheim and /or Sequential…if the funds can be found, ha-ha…

Over the years I have been a Syntaur customer as you have been a great resource in helping me keep a lot of this old gear functional. I have recently discovered the Synth Wizards series and have enjoyed it a great deal. I
look forward to more episodes.
