I have just damaged my previously working Kaossillator Pro by trying to replace the touch screen with a replacement.(the original seemed to be starting to stick at certain touches)
in my stupidity i have managed to destroy both ribbons (a 4 pin, and a larger flatter grey)
i have tried to salvage the grey ribbon from the Kaoss pad. And its still not working.
Im absolutley gutted 
i will never take older equupment again in my life, the ribbons where very brittle and have been handled far to much. I am posting here as i have three broken Korg pads that i would be interested in seeking a proffesional repair.
1 x Korg Kaossillator Pro (green) - broken ribbons/cables - touch screen lost end of 4 wire cabke
1 x Korg Kaos pad (red) - power problem. Originally, kept for spares..
1 x Korg kp1 (silver) was working. Got overpowered with a 15v supply (instead of 12v).no power
All have been opened. And checked for obvious signs of damage
All in good condition. All buttons, knobs, both sliders, switches are in good condition.
