I bought a Basyn PCB to convert these Hammond M-3 bass pedals to midi. I want to add an aftertouch strip to the mechanism and plug that into a Doepfer Wheel Electronic PCB. I see various aftertouch strips on Ebay for sale. Can I pretty much buy anything and cut it to size or does it need to stay intact? This particular model is 12 pedals with about 16"-17" of contact space. Thanks!
