Hey All. First post here from me
Im trying to get my old samplers up and running again, but i have a problem with the s900
Whenever i boot i get absolute no response on the screen, led or the buttons. First my thought was the fuses, but then i heard the floppy disk drive is making a noise, so it must be powered somehow?
I’ve linked a small video of it and I hope you can hear it
I am not very strong in electronics, so im not sure what to look for.
Can anyone please help me with troubleshooting this? What should i look for? Any ideas of what it could? Is power a common problem for these samplers?
Thank you for reading my thread!

Hi, yes… power supply may have bad capacitors. If I were you I would bring it to a professional repair shop that fixes vintage gear. My Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard had this problem. It needed new capacitors on it’s power supply due to it’s age. Some places will rebuild the power supply for you. I found a guy on ebay. I had a conversation with him. I had to remove my dead power supply, ship it to him. He sent me back a freshly rebuilt one within a week. He also used to work for Ensoniq. Maybe he can fix your power supply. He’s a pro. His name is Mike Adkins. Look on Ebay for Ensoniq ASR 10 rebuilt power supplies. That’s him. Maybe send him a message and see if he’ll do the repair or know someone else who you should send it to. I hope this helps… Good luck my brother.
