Anyone know the technical name for these flat cable types?

Greetings all. I am attempting to clean up some old connections in my Roland XP-80 and would like to replace these exact part types. Does anyone know the name for the thin, flexible, black, flat cables that handle just about all major boards on the unit; jumpers if you will. Any insight would be appreciated. I would like to order something newer that would do the trick, from Mouser, or something. Thanks all.

They are these ribbon-like ones in the image I have included:

Traditionally called “ribbon cables” since at least the first gen PC of the 1980s.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, I’m familiar with the type of cable (ribbon cables), I just didn’t know if there was an “industry name” for this specific, black (18/20awg) type. They seem to have a specific spacing that fits all of the terminal ports on the boards where they connect.

The spacing between pins is called the pitch. The most common pitch on ribbon cables is 0.1 inch (2.54 mm). You may want to verify if that looks about right on your synth with a ruler or calipers. On Mouser I think these are going to be called “Flat Cables”
