ASR-10 stuck on "Loading System"

Hi:

I am having issues with my ASR-10. It would not load with the floppy drive installed. It would get so far and then stay on the system loading screen.

I replaced the drive with a Gotek drive. It starts to load from a usb stick but only gets so far and then stays on the System Loading screen. I took it to Swtiched On in Austn. They had it for a few months but could not figure out the issue.

Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

Check your cables. All ensoniqs are notoious for extremely hard to pull sockets, where you will end accidentally pulling on the cable and creating a break. Always use a prying tool to pull a socket apart.
