Bad key for Roland HP-337 keyboard

My keyboard is in excellent shape but one key plays heard/louder than all others that I use quite frequently. The keyboard does not appear to be very serviceable with a couple screws in the bottom but is this problem even fixable if I did into it ?
Thanks,

Welcome to the forum,

We have a blog post about troubleshooting problems like this.

You may need some new contact strips to complete repair which we have available on the parts page for the HP-337. Check out that blog post too, it has good tips to figure out the problem. For example, you can try switching the contact strip on your malfunctioning key with another strip. If the faulty note moved then it’s a bad strip, if it didn’t then the circuit board itself needs cleaning or repair.
