Casio CZ 5000 doesn't turn on

Hello! Recently purchased a CZ 5000 but it isn’t turning on - checked power on the switch and ac adapter and they’re transmitting power but idk how the battery transmitter gets power. Any help???

What is a battery transmitter??

Check the fuses F1 … F4 (yellow) first - then check the voltages before and after the two rectifiers (red circles)

Not able to do so until tmrw but would love to hop on a ft call with you tmrw if you’re able - email me at davidj11gomez@gmail.com

Here with it now if you are able to help, don’t know where this is located at

Did you check the fuses ?

With a meter … not just looking at them …. Btw

Yeah i don’t know how to find the fuses is the thing

Have you got a meter to do AC Vols, DC Volts, Ohms and Duode measurements?

Yes. When I measured where the power goes in the two side pines measure at around 120 and stayed the same when I turn it on and then the center pine remained at 0. When checking the pins my the at power button they were at around 1.12 and then would should up to 20 when turned on and then go back to 1.12

Forget about the switch for the time being. If you have 120VAC across the two outer pins of the mains socket - that is good.

Now measure same across the black and orange wire that go to the transformer and flick the switch.

You should also read 120VAC there - depending on the switch being on or off (switch on = 120VAC, switch off = 0VAC) !!
