Casio FZ-1 line input hiss

Hi, I forgot to turn off my Casio FZ-1 when I left the studio, so the next day when I came back and started sampling, the audio recorded in the sampler got this tape like hiss, the line input adds the hiss that is recorded with the actually clean audio source. I think something overheated and blown, is there anything I can do alone to fix it, I saw a lot of Casio FZ-1 parts on your site.

Thanks, Tom.

Welcome!
Is there hissing on the outputs or headphones too?
Just working out if it’s the input that’s faulty, or the outputs.

It’s the input, older samples recorded before this malfunction, that I have stored on floppy, play fine without the hiss.

That’s good news.
Check the op-amp and ADC circuitry for the sampling input.
Components should still be available.
You’ve got the schematic?

Yes, I found service manual, I will try and open this thing next week.
