Confirmation of Acceptable Mains Power for Yamaha YC-61

Hi, I’m hoping someone might be able to confirm something for me.

I recently purchased a Yamaha YC-61 from a buyer in Japan. I didn’t realize at the time that Japan has 100V power as standard mains power.

I noticed on my YC-61 that it states to only plug in to 100V power source.

However, when searching for a replacement YC-61 power supply on this site, I see that the power supply sold appears to be an automatic switching type power supply. However, it only lists 110V-240V as acceptable power mains.

I’d like to know if the Japanese version of the YC-61 uses the same power supply as the American/European version?

I haven’t plugged it in yet, and hoping I don’t need to purchase a step-down transformer.

Is there perhaps a link to the YC-61/73/88 series repair manual available to find a wiring/power diagram for this keyboard?

Thanks!

Hmmm … these units have been fitted with a non-Yamaha PSU … it’s a buy-in.

Pretty sure they are 100V … 240V as the service manuals do only show one part number (as opposed to various part numbers if there would be Mains AC dependencies)

These are SMPS unit - yiu can do a verification though … inspect the PSU to find a 100V/220V jumper on the transformer primary side ( the part that is on the side where the mains is connected to. If there is no jumper then you are safe!
