Dead Keys on Korg Minilogue

Howdy,
I have a korg minilogue with 4 dead keys. I cleaned and replaced the contacts to no avail. I cant see any breaks but this is my first synth surgery so maybe im missing something. Anyone have any leads on a place i can buy a new key motherboard to replace the old one? Or maybe theres another method i should try? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

Hey mate, where did you end up here? I’m in the same boat with around 7 dead keys post cleaning.

We sell replacement key contact boards for the Minilogue on the website.

It’s also possible that the dead keys are caused by the contact strips. A quick test to tell which is at fault is to swap the places of the contact strips with each other. If the dead note moves you have a bad contact strip, if it stays in the same spot then it’s a problem with the contact board.

If your contact strips are the problem you can remove them and clean them with soap and water before replacing, more info about that on our blog post.
