E-MU E4XT Ultra front panel including lcd doesn’t show lights

Hello all, newbie here just picked up a E-MU E4XT Ultra and the sampler powers on but the front panel doesn’t show any lights but I can hear the fan running. The lcd screen is blank with no backlight. Searching the forums and google, I’m seeing a lot of suggestions of replacing power supplies and lcd screens. I’m hoping to not buy unneeded parts as parts are already hard to find and that could keep others from getting the parts they need. Hoping the forum can lead me in the right direction.

No bulging caps and after putting it all back together I measured the psu using a multimeter and all was at least powered correctly.
