I have an E-Mu Proteus MPS. When I turn it on whether in diagnosis mode or not. I get the error message “bad Q chip”. Press enter to continue. At this point I can’t play any of the sound sets. I can use the board as a midi controller. I get the same jumbled sound from every preset. Is the processor chip the “Q” chip?I see your sight is out of the main circuit board for this synth. Are there any possible remedies that don’t require replacement parts? Thanks.
