Emax 1 noise in samples

Peace. Wandering if anyone could give some trouble shooting insights/ has a similar issue. Samples playback with what I can best describe as “digital noise” embedded in the sample like the inverter is producing sound that bleeds into the sample input… any insights?

The sound RAM chips failing can often cause these kinds of problems. Page 3 of the Emax Diagnostics Procedures has instructions for testing the ERAM which includes the sound RAM. If the test reads all good then you will probably need an oscilloscope to determine where the noise is being introduced.

Peace. Thank you. I ran the ERAM and it passed. I think it was user error took some samples today after having reworked the patch bays and the sample played back without the noise. Although I do have some intermittent keys that I have to create a post detailing.
