Awaiting battery replacement in my opened KT-88. Afterwards, will there be any special startup procedure to restore program memory to factory defaults? If so, what is the procedure? I have an external memory expansion PCMCIA card, so any custom patches & sequences should be on that. TIA

Just an FYI: On many Ensoniq synths, you need to reinitialize after replacing the battery so that the software then recognizes that there is a new battery in place. Otherwise, it will keep saying to replace the battery, even though you just did…
