Octave Cat Pre-SRM, Rev A, A-1000 Schematics
I found them! The actual schematics for the OG, pre-SRM version Octave Cat! They’ve been so elusive that I was sure they didn’t actually exist, like I’ve been chasing a ghost. But, then I stumbled upon this guy’s 24 year old, geocities looking webpage (Octave CAT Tuning Procedures) ]and there they were as unassuming individual files of each page. I referenced them to my pre-srm Cat and other pictures online and they appear to check out for boards A and B marked “Rev B” on them. The psu, interface, and keyboard circuits line up too! I compiled the pages into a pdf and uploaded it to the internet archive for all to enjoy. Just wanted to share this triumph, cheers!
