Juno 106 Randomly Showing edit dots and settings drift

My beloved Juno 106 has developed an issue where, as I am playing it, the edit dots will light up and the settings for the patch in use will randomly change. Pressing the patch number to recall the patch will clear the problem, but only for a little while. Any thoughts as to what is causing this?

I’ve done many Juno 106s and come across this a few times. Usually it’s because one of the sliders is faulty and needs replacing. But to figure out which one you need a computer, midi interface and a program like MIDIOX that will show you the data being sent from the Juno. On the back is a data switch make sure it’s set to “III”. Now watch the input monitor it will show Sysex data by itself. The string of digits will identify which slider it is. If you then move the sliders you will be able to match which one is moving on its own. If it’s multiples it can also be one of the opamps in the panel board. These aren’t anything special so any dual opamp like a 4558 or 1458 will do the job too.

Synzoneau - I agree 100% and have seen similar issues. All these synths with sliders are very maintenance intensive
