[Roland ] [Juno 6] – [Paint repair]

Hi I have several synths that need some touching up. Does anyone have the colour codes for the Juno synths and or Roland 808? If not what advice can you give of matching the colour? I’ve heard about companies who can colour match for a price…however, I’d like to try to do this myself for low cost if possible.

None of that was ever released. However what you can try is using an app like “Find Paint Color” or similar apps that search existing databases for the closest match to what your cell phones sees.

There’s also a few dedicated camera systems out there that are better at including textures in the final color choice, but they are thousands of dollars.

It may not be much help but I have found 151 matt black to be the same as the black on a juno 6/60.

Hi Starfish, That’s really great. I found some on the web and will try. I’ve found RAL8019 to be close matching for Yamaha DX7 Mk1 . I think I can get a closer match, but in the meantime this has helped restore a recent DX I’ve been working on.
