My volume control only works when the slider is in the up position, so i’m thinking I need a new slider. What does everyone think?
Probably a good call. But you can try some deoxit spray first. But sometimes there’s a crack in the surface which means a replacement is needed. You can use a pencil to do a temporary repair sometimes if there’s a crack.
All of the JX-8P sliders are identical, so you could swap two of them around and at least get the volume working again. You’d just have to decide which other pot to sacrifice…
