I am repairing a korg c3200 and the contact strips have all been replaced. I am having an issue with octave 4 where the notes sound like there is static - it only happens when the piano sounds are selected and not the electric piano or other sounds. I cleaned the contacts on the circuit board before I replaced the contact strips, and allowed it adequate time to dry. I also did a factory reset which seemed to help momentarily but it did not last. This tells me there is possibly a problem elsewhere in the midi bank or other circuitry, but my supplier has closed for the summer. Does anyone have an idea of what part is faulty and/or where I can get one?
