Hi folks,
I am interested in acquiring a set of complete ESX-1 rubber pads (keys) . The ones on my recently purchased unit comes from a smokey environment and I cannot get rid of the yellowing or the accompanying odor. I have tried 12% hydrogen peroxide, acetone, isopropyl , sodium bicarbonate but nothing seems to clean them up. Anything stronger and I would worry about damaging the contacts. Apart from that there is nothing wrong with the functionality of them. So if anyone is breaking a ESX-1 for spares (very rare I know) and the pads a sparkling white please let me know.
Or if anyone knows of a great cleaning method…
Syntaur does offer one of the pads but not the complete set.
