Hey All, guitar player here who could use some help restoring a Korg M1. Just replaced the display screen and found that it works well and toggles through the factory presets ok. The issue is that I can only get one sound out of the keyboard regardless of what setting it’s on. Been told it needs a new main board … any input is appreciated TY
Have you loaded the presets via MIDI?

You also should change the memory battery, or you will have to reload the sounds in the previous post after every powercycle. It’s very easy to do on the M1 there’s a battery holder there just buy a normal CR2032 battery and put it in.
Thanks .. i just finished doing that and am now looking for the usb / midi adaptor for the download. I moved to the highlands of Panama from the States and short ordering from Amazon it sometimes takes a bit to find this stuff. Thanks again for your help
