Hello everybody, I’m trying to revive a Korg M1R EX that I picked up as a little project. It was DOA with no information about what potential issues it might have. Opened it up and checked the easy things first and noticed a blown fuse. Replaced with correct value fuse, switched it on and immediately blew again. I then noticed heat coming from the common mode choke. Could the failure of this part explain fuses blowing? And also does anyone happen to know a replacement for it? I thank you all in advance!
L2’s winding looks like crap for sure. It would be nice to know what you ended up doing for a replacement. C8 looks like it got scorched too.
