I just purchased a Korg sv1 very cheap because it will not power on.
The tube lights when switch is on but led’s do not light up and no sound.
Has anyone dealt with this issue? Could it be a fix such as a fuse or is it way more complicated.
Any suggestions would help thank you
I have the exact same problem. The valve box lights but nothing else. The fault started over the past couple of years with the instrument randomly switching OFF but always recovered with a switch-on. Not convenient on the stage… But the other day, a blast of hideous loud noise and now nothing.

I did change a few blown capacitors but no progress
A couple of years ago I had two of these with the same problem on the bench. In both units I noticed that the internal heat is not great and had taken out most of the electrolytics throughout. when I removed any capacitor for testing inline with power and output they had almost all failed.
If you feel confident in testing or in some cases even visually inspecting the capacitors for leaks and bulges then I’d start there.
