I’d like to possibly remove a knob from my KORG Krome EX, paint it, and put it back on. In our church band I am sometimes tasked with “fading in” the sound at the beginning of a song and I have had a couple of experiences where I grabbed the cutoff knob instead of the volume knob. I was thinking if I had a brightly colored volume knob that might help prevent such errors in the future. My question is about removing the knob in the first place. Do those pop off and back on, just like that? I’m really afraid I’m going to break something!
Hello Nick, no need to remove anything, just find a piece of colored tape and cover the knob temporarily.
