Mini MOOG Voyager - No Stereo Output

Hi
I have a Mini MOOG Voyager - Electric Blue Synth and I am not getting anything out of the Right (Stereo) output. If I use the MONO, it functions fine. If I put my headphones in, I get output out of the one channel and the other is slight hissing sound.
When I turn up the Volume and have the Stereo Channel plugged in, I can hear that the hissing is actually changing when I depress a key on the keyboard. I hear that in my headphones too.
I have done the regular things of cleaning all connections and checked for any physical issues and all looks peachy good inside?
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

I’d start tracing the signal on the audio board following through the schematics.
Check the “Output Section (Master & Headphones)” to see if the right audio output is clean.
It’ll probably be a component associated with the opamp or audio output sections.

Thank you. I have checked all the physical connections and now digging deeper. I started at the output and going backwards

I am still trying to source this problem in my spare time. After double checking what I can, I am looking through the circuit diagrams, and convinced the problem is in Board Number 4: Filter / VCA, but for the life of me, I cannot find that specific board! Is it hidden or was it a seperate board in the older units?

The one I am struggling with has the name ‘Blue’ as a possible way to figure out exactly which one it is. Thanks in advance, I feel like a clown to be asking such a silly question…

Try this, connect the left working cable into the Right output jack. If still no sound or hissing then you know that it’s not your cable. Next step is to purchase a can of Deoxit D5, Make sure your Moog Voyager is disconnected from the wall AC power and remove the Right audio cable. Your right output jack may be oxidized. Spray the Deoxit D5 directly into the Right audio output female jack with the Deoxit D5 spray. Also spray it on the cable, then plug the cable in and out about 25 to 30 times wait about 20 minutes before re- connecting it to AC to try it out. It needs 20 minutes to dry.If still no sound then Re-spray it on both and repeat this process wait another 20 minutes then see if it works. I had to do this 3 times in my Soundcraft Ghost’s audio inputs on certain tracks. I got them all working this way. Sometimes it takes 3 tries. Hope this solves your problem. You can purchase a small can of Deoxit D5 spray at: Sweetwater Sound via internet.

Hi

Thanks for your advice. The owner took it to moog because no one could find the problem. I wish I still had it to try your ideas

Thanks for replying though
