I’ve got a Moog Voyager Signature Edition that I’ve had since shortly after it was released. The action on the keyboard, from Fatar I think, was historically excellent. But over the past few years it’s gotten a bit ‘hard’ and practically ‘clicks’ when the note is depressed at a decent velocity.
I’ve repaired a few Hammond organs and needed to re-felt them. I haven’t popped this open to take a look, but I assume there is some similar set of up/down stops, either felt or rubber, that need to be replaced to return it to its original glory.
Does anyone have experience with this? I sent InMusic/Moog a service request on it, but compared to the days of Amos working there and answering anything I don’t have much hope.
Otherwise its working great, but this gap makes playing it a little bit less joyful than it once was.
