MPC 25000/OS 1.14
I brought this MPC2500 that had a display issue and a broken CF card reader. The CF card pcb is easily replaceable at the moment so I am not worried about that. The pins where the card was inserted was bend out of place.
When the unit powers on, the screen recieves power. The system boots up fine and runs the OS smoothly as it responds to button inputs. The problem is that the LCD screen is not showing any pixels. The LCD responds to changes in the constrast as it gets darker and lighter but there isnt any information displayed on screen. Does any one know what part on the board is failing?
I swapped this motherboard into a working unit and it produced the same result with a different working LCD screen so I know it isnt the LCD. I am including pictures of the board, videos of the problem as well as the service manual. I dont know how to read schematics to identify the part and the proper voltage needed if there was a short any where. Someone suggested the logic controller but I am not even sure how to find that as the service manual Akai made isnt that detailed. Can any one help assist?
