Greetings and salutations. So my Korg Electribe ESX is having issues with the slide pot on the arpeggiator. Upon looking for a replacement, I can’t find any that have the center detent, which is a feature of that slide pot that I really like. I was noticing that Nord part number 25250 has similar specs, but 11 detents. It’s Syntaur part 9538. Could one, theoretically, with a little finagling, fit that sucker in there in it’s place and have a stop for each individual note? Any advice, possible avenues, or general wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
you don’t say what the problem is.
- if the slide is gummed up, take it apart and clean it.
- if the resistor material has a break in it, take it apart, clean it and use conductive paste to fill in the break.
