Nord Stage 3 main board replacement

Hello, I’m considering ordering this main board for my Nord Stage 3 (won’t power up even though it has power) - Main board, Nord Stage 3 - Syntaur and was wondering if anybody on this forum had replaced a main board on their Nord, and if so how did it go? Thanks!

I have a very similar problem and was wondering the same as you. Did you attempt the main board replacement?? If so how did it go? or if you sent to a tech and they fixed it could you pass along who worked their magic?

Hi Dylan, I did order the main board from Syntaur and if I remember correctly it arrived in about 3 weeks, maybe a little less. I did the replacement myself, and it’s good as new. A little tedious job, maybe a couple of hours work, but it was worth it to save the tech $$ to me. Mine is completely back to normal. There’s a great chat on the Nord user forum where a contributor walks you through the replacement, with pictures and everything. bad power supply? - Page 3 - Nord User Forum Unfortunately for me, he posted it about a week after I did mine. One more thing to be sure to do is a complete backup of your Stage 3 before swapping, because you will be back to factory settings with the new one.
