Please I have a Novation Impulse Midi Controller which suddenly start playing by itself whenever it get powered on.

Please great technicians what could be the problem of this Midi controller and what is the possible solution To this.

I would unplug the keybed from the PCB internally and then power it on. If the problem persists then it’s something on the PCB which won’t be easy to fix. If the problem goes away it suggests something in the keybed. Cleaning the contacts would be the way to approach the problem, there may be something conductive under the contacts.

Please can this Novation power on via usb connected to any laptop. I mean without having to install any software or plugins?
