My DX7 suddenly without warning does not turn on. It has no power pack built into the plug. Where can I start to check this issue? Thanks
you have to open it up and look for what’s exploded. The DX7 does not have a power brick, the power supply is built into the keyboard.
If oyu have no experience working on keyboard, you need to take it to a tech that can. The DX7 has many time expired parts that if not already serviced and replaced will lead to multiple unresolveable issues when trying to troubleshoot.
Your local music store should be able to provide you with someone who can work on it.
