Pedal Cable For Yamaha YDP-142

I broke the pedal cable on my YDP-142 and have to order and install a new one. Is there any problem connecting it to the pedal mechanism at the bottom?

Typically Yamaha pedal cables have a connector on both ends, but you should upend the piano and check

I realize that the only way to attach it is to totally turn the piano upside down.

I have a cable ordered and it’s specifically for the YDP-142.

One would think that they could come up with an easier way of doing things.

lol….you only need to upend the piano, pretty easy.no need to turn over! Just have someone put there foot on the opposite side so it doesn’t slide.
