Power switch extension E-mu Ultra Diassembly

Hi
any tips for getting the switch extension off in order to replace it?
I have purchased the spare part but cat really see how the old one comes off- I dont want to break the attachment.

do you mean the black cap that fits over the switch mechanism? usually they break when people remove the front panel, without first removing the black switch cap

sorry just saw this…yes thats the one can’t see how the broken one comes off, have the cover around the psu removed -dont want to force the old one off and break it

i have had a good look and cant figure out how it comes apart - does the whole switch assembly need to be unplugged and then diassembled?
any advice appreciated

I have a new power switch extension E-mu part number EP419 - do i need a power switch assembly E-mu part number AC413 in order to complete the repair? I cant figure out how to get the old one off.
