This is kind of awkward but I have numerous broken, old hardware synths and modules that would simply cost a fortune to be shipped down to Texas. Can you refer me to any reputable Northern California synth repair people, preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area or within San Francisco, itself? Thanks for your help.

We actually don’t do any outside repairs at Syntaur - we just sell the parts and do our own in-house projects. While I don’t have a recommendation for San Francisco itself, there are a couple of good folks in San Jose/San Mateo that could likely help you out.
