Resoldered ib tact switch on JX-8P. How to fasten button

Finally got around to replacing the Tact Switch for Number 1 tact switch on JX-8P.
Soldered in position.
But how do I get the little top button (round ) to mount to new tact switch?

Just a dab of super glue?

Those round switch caps should just click on unless you haven’t got the right tactile switch.
You can superglue the cap onto it - I personally would use just a little piece of sticky tape - folded over so it glues on both the switch and the cap. At least you can remove it again should you have to.

I put a small dab of wood glue on and let it sit for an hour before reassembly.
Seemed to do the trick.
