Roland Alpha Juno Firmware Help

Hello, I am trying to install version 2.5 firmware in my Alph juno 2 from and eprom

Are there any specific settings or offsets i need to address in my xgpro software to burn the firmware on my eprom

this is what i am getting. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Best Regards, George

The EPROM is a very standard 27128 model ; I don’t think there’s anything special about the XGPro. Are you sure the firmware is the problem ?
Have you checked the PSU polarities ?

The keyboard was working pretty well The keyboard was working pretty well but I wanted to update it. Minus some glitching here and there so I wanted to update it. I removed the old e prom inserted a socket And then put the new one in there.
That was the only thing that I had changed.

I will further inspect to make sure. There is no solder joint connecting to another.

If it was working before the update, check the solder joints of the socket.
Have you checked the EPROM programming with XGPro ?

Where did you download your 2.5 firmware ?
I believe the one available on dbwbp.com is a modified version designed to work with an OLED display !

I think I did download that one.

I also saw that I can get the 2.5 firmware from llama music. I was going to erase my e.Prom.And try that one after work

@Funktapu55 I have the same issue, as shown on LCD picture. Burned latest firmware and EPROM verify is ok but synth not start and shows only 8 rectangles on LCD. Did you find a solution? On the same synth board, I put my spare EPROM and it works, but when I put the new programmed EPROM it not work.
