The EPROM is a very standard 27128 model ; I don’t think there’s anything special about the XGPro. Are you sure the firmware is the problem ?
Have you checked the PSU polarities ?
The keyboard was working pretty well The keyboard was working pretty well but I wanted to update it. Minus some glitching here and there so I wanted to update it. I removed the old e prom inserted a socket And then put the new one in there.
That was the only thing that I had changed.
I will further inspect to make sure.There is no solder joint connecting to another.
@Funktapu55 I have the same issue, as shown on LCD picture. Burned latest firmware and EPROM verify is ok but synth not start and shows only 8 rectangles on LCD. Did you find a solution? On the same synth board, I put my spare EPROM and it works, but when I put the new programmed EPROM it not work.
