Roland SBX-10 PCB Removal

Hi, anyone have any experience with a Roland SBX-10 sync box?

I’m having trouble removing the main PCB from the upper face plate. The bottom of the case comes off fine but the are some tabs on the casing at the jack end of the board that are revealed when the jack board is taken off. When the board is pulled up the pot shafts in the middle of the board gets stuck on the face plate and don’t seem to want to be pushed back in far enough to allow the board to pop out? Any ideas as I don’t want to flex the board too much and crack it.

Thanks, Dean

i just got one apart. it took a few minutes to get the pots to clear the case to pop up. they barely clear but they do.

i’m looking for the service manual or schematics.

I don’t have the SBX-10 now and I never manged to get it fully open in the end.

I did manage to find both the manual and the service notes though so I hope these will be of use to you now.

All the best.
