Hello I have an old SPS-S but it got stuck in a Firmware update a few years ago. It turns on but won’t boot. Now I want to try to update it via Midi I use the program I downloaded from the Roland website…UPDSMF.But every time I try to update it it freezes during the first file i send.
I’ve read that this is because the update tool plays too fast, and the SPD/S can’t keep up
But there are no settings in this tool to make it play slower
Is there any other tool I could try it with…
Have tried couple others but some do not recognize the midi files…
Help!!
